Victoria BC – At approximately 8:23 a.m. this date, VicPD responded to an apartment fire at 757 Pandora Ave. The initial call was for police to assist the Victoria Fire Department. Fire investigators however, told police that the fire appeared to have been deliberately set.

Victoria BC – A group of armed male suspects forcibly entered a home in the 400 block of Burnside Road. After assaulting the occupants of the residence, the males fled with an assortment of the victims’ property.

Victoria BC – Investigation by members of the Victoria Police Department Patrol Section has led to the arrest of a male believed responsible for a spike in residential break and enters in Esquimalt.

Victoria BC –    The body of a male found in the water off Dallas Road yesterday has been identified as 57 year old Albert Gabriel CHARLIE.

Victoria BC – VicPD Major Crimes Detectives and the Coroners Service are investigating after a males body was found in the water near Ogden Point early this morning.

Victoria BC – At 1230 am., a citizen reported suspicious males prowling vehicles in the area of Plaskett Pl. and Munro St. in Esquimalt.  Officers attended to find three vehicles entered.  Suspect descriptions were obtained.  Several minutes later, members of the Military Police on patrol caught two males inside a parked vehicle on Grafton St. near Lyall St..  These suspects matched the description of the previous car prowlers.  The suspects fled on foot when confronted by the Military Police.

Victoria BC – On Saturday night VicPD officers participated in the Island-Wide Counterattack initiative from Victoria to Port Hardy which resulted in several tickets and 24 hour suspensions.
