Crime Prevention Services (CPS) is responsible for the delivery of effective crime prevention programs, campaigns and strategies for the neighborhoods within the City of Victoria and Township of Esquimalt. Programs are administered through full time Police-Civilian staff with support from approximately 90 Volunteers and 47 Reserve Police Officers. Programs include Block Watch, Crime Free Multi-Housing, Personal Safety Lectures, Home-Business Security Audits, Lock-out Auto Crime, Speed Watch, Front Counter, Stolen Auto Recovery and Crime Watch. Information to support these Intelligence-led programs is provided by the Analysis and Intelligence Services (AIS) comprised of a Crime Analyst, Intelligence Officer and Intelligence Coordinator.
