West DivisionThe West Division of VicPD, along with the K9 Unit, is located in the Township of Esquimalt's Public Safety building. The division includes four school liaison positions, one youth investigator, one community resource officer; the division is supervised by one police sergeant and one police inspector. The school liaison officers and youth investigator are responsible for police services directed toward youth and schools within the City of Victoria and Township of Esquimalt; the community resource officer provides services to the communities of Esquimalt, Vic West, and the Gorge Burnside Road area.
