UPDATE: Toyota Truck Recovered, Motorcycle Still Sought After Incidents

UPDATE – Thanks to your tips the Toyota truck has been recovered. The motorcycle and red hoodie are still being sought by officers and we still need your help to find them.

Victoria, BC – VicPD investigators are asking for your help in locating two vehicles used in a series of incidents in the night of Saturday, December 12th.

Pedestrian Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Collision

Victoria, BC – A pedestrian is in hospital facing life-threatening injuries after a collision with a BC Transit bus.

At around 5:45 p.m. last night, officers responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus at Dunedin Street and Gorge Road East.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the bus had swerved to avoid the man but that the back end of the bus had struck him.

VicPD seeking Victims of a Fraud

Victoria BC – VicPD investigators are hoping to speak to any victims of a fraud that occurred on November 21st.

Officers are currently investigating the report of a fraud where tickets to a November 21st Vancouver Canucks game were sold along with transportation and accommodation.  The seller cancelled the trip the day of the game and to date, there has not been a refund.

Capital Region Police Boards Meet to Address Common Issues

Victoria BC – Representatives from the Central Saanich, Oak Bay, Saanich, and Victoria and Esquimalt police boards met yesterday on common issues that affect all police boards in the capital region.

The discussion focused on integrated policing. Topics included how integrated police units could be improved to enhance public safety and the role of oversight for such units.

Our Search for Emma Fillipoff is Ongoing

Victoria BC – Saturday marks the three-year anniversary of the disappearance of Emma Fillipoff.

During the evening of November 28, 2012, VicPD was contacted about a woman acting oddly in front of the Empress Hotel.  Officers located Emma Fillipoff and spoke at length with her.   After ensuring her well-being, Emma was allowed to continue on her way.  A few hours later Emma was reported as missing and has not been heard from or seen since.
