Seeking Witnesses to Incident Aboard BC Transit Bus

Victoria Police are seeking the public’s assistance with an incident which occurred on the #27 BC Transit bus on Monday January 5, 2015, whereby a suspect inappropriately touched a female.

After the incident, at approximately 6:00 pm, the #27 Bus stopped at a bus stop at Pandora Ave and Quadra St and the driver asked all of the passengers to leave the bus.  Victoria Police are interested in speaking with any of those passengers, as they are potential witnesses to the incident in question.

Additionally, investigators believe that the suspect in this occurrence was seated on the bus next to an unknown female prior to committing the offence. This female may have exited the bus prior to the offence taking place, however investigators believe that this female may have information regarding this offence and are asking her to come forward to speak to investigators.

In addition to the above, police are looking for other potential victims, and ask that anyone with knowledge of this incident or any other similar incidents on BC Transit busses come forward and speak to police via the non-emergency number at (250) 995-7654.
